A brief note on T.Narasipura Town
Town Panchayat, T.Narasipura was constituted in 1996.It has a population of 9980 according to the census of 2011. The Town Panchayat has 11 Wards and T.Narasipura TP stretches to an area of 0.81 Sq. KMs. The distance From Mysore 30 KM. Drinking Water supplying to the town from Kabini River.
The first letter "T" of the name (T.Narasipura) refers to Tirumakudalu, the peninsular town (Trimakuta in Sanskrit) at the conferrence of the Kaveri, Kabini and Spatika Sarovara.Close proximity with historical places like Somanathpura, Talakadu, Mudukutore. This is the place in South India where Kumbhamela is held every three years.
We are very happy to intimate the citizens of T.Narasipura city that we have computerizes the Birth and Death records from 1990 to till date under state Government KMRP computerization scheme, from now on wards citizens are requested to visit the citizen service centre at the office for registration and getting of Birth and Death certificates by paying service fee. Citizens are requested to make use of this facility. Public Grievances and Redressal Cell Opened and Complaints which received from publics are registering in Online.
Solid Waste Management
Solid Waste Management is done by Town Panchayat. It is of two package system comprising primary collection, street sweeping and transportation to landfill site. Door-to-Door collections are done in 8 Wards. Citizens have to pay user charges as per the MSW-rules for door-to-door collections.
